Play to hear the story behind the photograph.

This Image is called Supermoon and Cristo Rei

My photos in this exhibition were kind of my exploration of a new place where I live. And, at first I was really excited to be here. I mean, for the first or maybe even two first years I was taking a lot of images. Everything was interesting. Everything was new. Everything was very exciting.

I always wanted to shoot the moon aligned with, some interesting, object or spectral feature. But before, I never had a chance to do it. But here I saw the statue, and, while doing, some preparation for the shoot, I found out that it’s possible to align, the moon with the statue.

So it’s, kind of a little technical, process, because you need to do some calculations about, after all, it worked fine. And I think it’s quite an interesting image to look at and to show you. And it was also interesting to shoot. And it really fits, the exploration and discovery, theme of the exhibition, because, I did some, exploration. It was a real discovery to find that, it’s really worked out.  And, I got that beautiful image.
