I took this photo to capture a glimpse of everyday life in Lisbon, showing how people spend time by the river. What immediately drew my eye was the simplicity of the moment—just someone fishing—set against the backdrop of the city’s famous bridge, creating a nice composition. This image connects directly to the theme of street photography in Lisbon, offering both an intimate moment and a recognizable landmark. I titled the photograph to reflect its theme, highlighting the balance between the ordinary activity in the foreground and the iconic presence of the bridge in the distance.
