This was a completely unplanned accident. I walked out of the metro at Praça do Comércio into bright sunlight. As I looked to my right I was captivated by how the fog was rolling over the towns on the South side of the river while the North was clear as day. Caught out with only my 35mm I had to find a spot to shoot and still had to crop the photo. This set off a series of days where I would wake up early to check the weather report chasing fog during the Lisboa winters. Running downtown to try and catch the dissipating fog.
This is also my plan for winter 2025/2026. You’ll find me in the fog down by the river this winter.
