I moved to Lisbon 2 years ago shooting primarily street photography and architecture, this has evolved over time to include a variety of genres and themes. I am currently focusing on creating project-based artistic images.

Theme

The story of my photos revolves around the theme of the sea and people’s relationship to it. Portugal has always been a seafaring nation and it has shaped its culture and people throughout the centuries. Living here it becomes more evident that the sea has subconsciously become a part of the national character. The images presented, are meant to evoke certain feelings of connection, isolation and reflection through the subject of the sea.
