I’m Francisco and I’m from Chile.  I came here because I wanted to have a new life experience.  And being here, it feels a bit funny because I had to go away, and now I came back.

I feel grateful and curious about being here. Lisbon offers a fresh perspective and a chance to experience life differently, which is exactly what I was looking for. It’s not always easy — I do miss Chile, my roots, and the familiar — but that feeling only makes me appreciate this opportunity more.

I’m motivated by exploring new places and the unique energy of the people in Lisbon. The extraordinary colors here inspire me deeply. I’m challenged by the need to find a fresh, original approach since so much has already been said and shown about this city—I want to create something new.

My drive comes from the contrast between the seaside’s easy calm and the city’s seriousness—where in those peaceful moments, the real and genuine emerge naturally.

Home is comfort, memories, and openness.

What helped me feel at home in Lisbon were the people, the friendly atmosphere in public spaces, and above all, finding shared activities with others that both sides spontaneously enjoy. It is in those moments where one can be more authentic and create genuine connections.
